Product Demonstrator Part Time

Base Pay Range

$14.00/hr - $14.00/hr

Overview: The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining knowledge of products, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies, intercepting consumers, demonstrating products in a professional manner, and maintaining overall professional appearance consistent with job requirements.

• Possess adequate knowledge of the products represented.
• Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer positively.
• Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
• Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
• Properly set up and prepare event table for execution.
• Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
• Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
• Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
• Completes expense reports per Company Policy.
• Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
• Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents (Microsoft Word & Adobe PDF forms).

  Experience:
  
  High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training preferred.

  Proficient in using and navigating a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handlers permit may be required.

Physical Demands: Stand and walk during the shift; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms up to 65 inches; talk and hear; maintain visual ability to read instructions and perform events; stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up ladder; balance; lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds); push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden;

prepare foods and beverages using required appliances; be in contact with cleaning supplies.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Work Environment: Retail store environment with limited travel.

Physical Appearance: Professional appearance and grooming; comply with retailer dress code.
