Immediate openings for Apartment (HVAC) Maintenance Technician $24/hr
Essential Staffing Solutions is looking for dependable, hard‑working, and self‑motivated Apartment HVAC Certified Maintenance Technician professionals.
Our Certified Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for the repair and general maintenance of apartment AC units and other property facilities such as electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair. Additionally, the Certified Maintenance Technician will work with the other maintenance team members as needed, including completing residential work orders for property residents.
Responsibilities- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair major appliances, including refrigerators, stoves, and dishwashers.
- Perform electrical repairs and replacements, including switches, outlets, and light fixtures.
- Conduct plumbing repairs and replacements as needed.
- Perform carpentry work, lock repairs, or replacements as required.
- Complete make‑ready/punch‑outs on vacant units to prepare them for new residents.
- Address residential work orders for current property residents efficiently and professionally.
- Assist in renovation projects to enhance the quality and appeal of our properties.
- Maintain the curb appeal of the community by addressing landscaping, exterior maintenance, and cleanliness.
- Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- HVAC and EPA certification required.
- Must have your own tools (required).
- One year of experience in apartment maintenance or a related field (Property Management Housing).
- Proven experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC units.
- Experience in major appliance repair, electrical work, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail‑oriented with a commitment to quality and customer service.
