Dump Truck Operator

Company Overview: Watson Civil Construction, Inc. is a heavy/highway contractor working throughout Florida, specializing in large site infrastructure, underground utilities, and road construction. We are seeking qualified Dump Truck Operators for our Hillsborough County team.

Position Summary: Dump Truck Operators are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of dump trucks to transport materials such as dirt, gravel, sand, and asphalt at job sites within Hillsburgh County. This role involves performing basic vehicle inspections and following all safety protocols and traffic laws.

• Operate dump trucks to load, transport, and deliver materials as directed.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Assist with loading and securing materials for transport.
• Maintain communication with dispatchers and site supervisors.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures and obey traffic regulations.
• Report any maintenance issues or operational concerns.

• Must have a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), which is required by law to operate dump trucks in Florida.
• Prior experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy vehicles is preferred.
• Good driving record and ability to follow instructions.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.
