General Responsibilities
Community Bank Card Services Assistant (CSA) provides assistance to Bank staff system-wide in debit card issuance, fraud, disputes, ATM functionality and balancing. The CSA must possess knowledge of all bank products, fully understand and adhere to all federal and state laws and the policies of the Bank. The CSA must represent the Bank professionally, deliver pleasant, effective, efficient customer service, solve problems with attention to details, multi-task, perform duties timely, and support co-workers.
The CSA is expected to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with co-workers, bank customers, and others. The CSA may fill multiple roles and reports to the assigned Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager.
- Work daily reports from varied sites to balance various functions.
- Troubleshoot card transaction errors and identify system problems.
- Prepare communication to bank customers and staff system-wide regarding various areas.
- Communicate effectively and work with Bank staff in various card services functions.
- Answer telephone inquiries and work in a time-sensitive ticketing system.
- Perform duties in the debit card area within regulatory guidelines.
- Troubleshoot issues with ATM functionality and daily balancing.
