Forensics‑level professional position responsible for assisting Social Services Specialists. Responsibilities include and are not limited to tasks related to discharge planning, coordination of services, obtaining resources, obtaining patient clothing when needed, communicating with patients’ family members or correspondents, documentation, facilitating groups with patients, and patient transportation when needed. Jobs at this level explain and interpret policies and programs, rights, and responsibilities to clients, making appropriate referrals to other social services departments or other agencies as needed.
