- Busy, collegial practice of 2 physicians and 1 APRN, 1:1 provider to support staff model
- Seeking additional provider due to growth/demand
- BC/BE Required
- Excellent work/life balance, 36 patient hours/week, 4 admin hours, four-day work week available
- 16-20ppd with light, shared phone-call responsibilities with regional group
- EMR: EPIC, AI scribe service imbedded
- Academic/Clinical Affiliate of Yale University School of Medicine
- Charming seaside community, minutes to the ocean/beaches, accessibility to NYC/New Haven metro area
- 20 days PTO, 6 paid holidays, 5 sick days, 5 days CME w/stipend
- Base Salary $290K+ , two-year guarantee,
generous sign-on bonus , wRVU bonus plan, Quality Bonuses, retirement plans, relocation expenses,
up to $80K in student loan reimbursement
- Evaluate patients, and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic tests
- Involves patients and their families in care and treatment decisions
- Creates treatment plans and completes orders in patient's charts
- Collaborates on improvements in care delivery and service with staff, other physicians and management
- Initiates appropriate specialty referrals
- Provides clinical information to the interdisciplinary team in a clear and timely manner
- Ensures that proper patient documentation is timely, accurate and complete
- Works with practice management to ensure proper compliance with billing, coding and CPT code assignment
- Achieves and maintains optimal patient access
- Provides interdepartmental medical consultation as requested
- Participates in the development of medical protocols, standard procedures and management of
- Degree of MD or DO with ABIM-recognized internal medicine residency (three years minimum) or ABFM-recognized family medicine residency (three years minimum)
- Valid American Board certification in either internal medicine or family medicine and renewed (if needed) prior to expiration Valid and unrestricted Connecticut medical license BLS certification Valid DEA registration and Controlled Substance Certificate or in the process of obtaining.
