The Nest-Shoreline Campus is a forward-thinking, Reggio-inspired early learning center seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our dynamic staff as Toddler/Twos specialists at our Branford location.
OverviewAlphabet Academy / The Nest are family-centered early learning centers with a Reggio Emilia-based approach to childhood learning, activity, and play. Our teachers collaborate to nurture curious and joyful children, provide kind and gentle attention, and foster engaging, creative classrooms. Candidates must be passionate about infants and toddlers and committed to working in early childhood education. The ideal candidate will be eager to support colleagues as they build trusting relationships that encourage each child's growth, development, and healthy attachments.
Qualifications- Intentional teaching practices grounded in the Reggio Emilia approach
- A gentle, warm, creative demeanor
- Working knowledge of the RIE approach to infant/toddler care
- Associate, bachelor’s or master’s degree in early childhood education, development, or related field (varies depending on position)
- Enthusiasm for being outdoors in all types of weather
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build strong home-school connections
- Enthusiasm for nature‑based learning, including farm‑to‑table gardening (a plus)
