Key Responsibilities of this position include:

• Developing and implementing the EHS policy and procedures of the business unit with focus on prevention, risk reduction, and environmental compliance.
• Coaching and mentoring plant and line leadership in the execution of their EHS responsibilities.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, the location’s EHS policy, and standards.
• Serving as the primary contact with local authorities for EHS matters.
• Developing clear EHS accountability at all organizational levels.
• Analyzing data and reports to identify corrective and preventive actions and gaps.
• Participating actively in the investigation of EHS incidents.
• Overseeing location EHS ASAT processes and coaching location SPAs.
• Maintaining and improving the environmental management system.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in EHS.

• Thorough understanding of EHS and regulatory processes.
• Knowledge of EHS standards and guidance for compliance.
• Strong planning, organizational, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to interface effectively with all organizational levels.
• High commitment to EHS values and organizational goals.
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating needs, programs, strategic plans, and performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
