Data Engineer, Data Analyst
This is a support-focused role, primarily involving monitoring and troubleshooting rather than new development.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a software engineer, ETL/data integration, or big data developer to join our production support team.
This role involves supporting data ingestion, transformation, and distribution to end users, along with analysis, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
Key responsibilities include:
Additional duties involve developing scalable data solutions for real-time and batch data movement across systems, designing database objects, and developing ETL processes to transform raw data into SQL databases.
The candidate should have an aptitude for learning new technologies and a capacity for ongoing research, analysis, and process improvement. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for working effectively with team members, end users, and management.
Experience Needed:
- Programming languages and frameworks such as Python, SQL, PLSQL, and VB.
- Database platforms including Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.
- Big data technologies like Azure Synapse & Databricks.
- SAP experience with Business Objects, Cisco Tidal scheduler, and SAP ABAP is a plus.
