Full Time, Salary Range: $20.00 - $24.00 Hourly, Job Shift: 1st Shift, As a Warehouse Selector, you will perform an array of job functions, primarily working as a labor-intensive material handler, requiring you to manually select products listed on a customer order, palletize them, and load them onto a truck in sequential order. You may also be asked to receive product into inventory, again requiring labor-intensive handling of the product.

• Assist in shipping and receiving responsibilities, unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
• Prepares orders by selecting specific items for a customer order, staging them in a designated area of the warehouse; may entail packing boxes or handling product to remove quality issues
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or on pallets according to organizational standards.
• Open bales, crates and other containers.
• Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer. May also assist in counting of physical inventory.
• Prepare parcels for shipping.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area and work stations neat;
  Sweep, dust and/or mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
• Wear proper safety equipment
• Assess quality of product

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-2 years previous warehouse experience preferred
• Experience navigating computer software and handheld devices that support our Warehouse Management System/ERP required. Experience with Produce Pro Software a plus.
• Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills
• Dependable and reliable
• Inventory, Equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be required

• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
• Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-75 lbs., occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
• Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
• Safely operate electric pallet jacks and possibly a reach machine, and to push or pull a hand truck
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
• Specific hearing abilities required for this job include adequate hearing over a loud work environment in which several pieces of machinery are frequently running including pallet jacks, large shipping vehicles, motors, engines, etc.
• Frequently required to enter and exit large refrigerated coolers, as well as work in warehouse open to outdoor temperatures during shipping and/or receiving. Must be able to tolerate working in temperatures ranging from 25 degrees up to 100 degrees; work environment may be cool and wet
• Ability to multitask, reprioritize, and to make quick decisions and follow commands of supervising staff
• Meet attendance standards
