In 1999, Dr. Matthew Sams and his wife Tricia set up shop in Branson, Missouri, hoping to create a different kind of wellness clinic. Their vision was to build a practice that focused more on helping patients than finding customers. The goal was to challenge the status quo at every turn, constantly striving to offer more and better services.

Almost 30 years later, Healing Arts Center has grown into a full multi-specialty medical clinic with 3 separate locations, committed to helping the residents of SW Missouri and beyond. We believe that no two patients are alike, and that all patients deserve the best possible care.

We believe that our employees deserve to be treated with value and respect because a thriving team builds a thriving company. We strive to create a positive atmosphere for our staff and provide them with stellar benefits.

Full-time Employee benefits include free in-office treatment from several of our physicians. We also offer many services, products and procedures (such as Lab Tests, Medications, and IV therapy) at an Employee Discount rate. Additionally, a substantially discounted rate for treatment and products is available to your spouse and your dependent children under the age of 18, living in your home.

We offer 6 paid holidays (when those holidays fall on a work day) and we make every effort to close the practice on the Friday after Thanksgiving, early on Christmas Eve and early on New Year's Eve. Although those additional closure dates are usually non-paid holidays, we believe it is important for our staff to spend additional quality time with family and friends.

All regular full-time employees, compensated by hourly or salary terms, are also eligible for PTO which begins accruing at your six-month anniversary of employment.

We choose to provide our employees with quality healthcare within our practice and a full (well-deserved) paycheck, rather than skimming money out of your paycheck for a health insurance policy that may not be the best fit for you. However, we do offer supplemental insurance, to be paid by the employee, through companies like AFLAC if desired.
