Job Summary:

As a Merchandise Lead, you will supervise and coordinate activities of workers in a retail shop andprovideleadership in the overall shop’s activities ofqualityand nature that will result in meeting and exceeding customer expectations.

This position starts now and ends 01/07/2027.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Carries out responsibilities in accordance withthe organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressingcomplaintsand resolving problems.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

I nclude the following. Other duties may be assigned to assist the Merchandise teams.

• Assigns duties to workers and schedules break periods, workhoursand vacations.
• Trains workers in company policies and procedures and job duties.
• Oversees recorded delivery of merchandise, compares record with merchandise ordered, andreportsdiscrepancies to control costs andmaintaincorrect inventory levels.
• Inspects merchandise to ensure that it is correctly priced and displayed.
• Recommends additions toordeletions of merchandise assortments.
• Assist steam members in all functions pertaining tothe POS system.
• Proves to be exemplary in providing outstanding customer service including answering questions, responding torequestsand selling merchandise. Must be able to manage difficult or emotional customer situations.
• Keepsrecordof sales, prepares inventory of stock and orders supplies.
• Maintains harmony among workers, resolvesgrievancesand focuses on solving conflict, not blaming.
• Effectively performs PIC/Hostdutiesas requested by management.
• Ensure proper handling of customer credit card information in compliance with Property Procedures and Purchasing Card Industry (PCI) standards.

Education/

Experience:

One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
