Become a Home Inspection Representative at Empire Homes where your main focus will be on scheduling inspections and improving new homeowner experiences. Ensure compliance with Tarion standards.
Empire Homes is hiring a Home Orientation Representative to lead pre-closing inspections across various Ontario communities such as Breslau, Caledonia, and Brantford. This role is vital in identifying deficiencies in new builds per the Ontario Building Code. You will collaborate with construction teams and homeowners to guarantee quality assurance during the closing process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule and conduct inspections based on construction timelines
• Report issues using detailed spreadsheets and internal reports
• Liaise with homeowners via email for smooth communication
• Compile onsite inspection files and documentation
• Oversee the rectification of any outstanding PDI deficiencies
Requirements:
• College Degree or Diploma preferred
• 2-3 years of experience related to building codes
• Computer literate, especially in Microsoft programs
• Valid 'G' driver's license is necessary
• Customer service experience is a plus
