Position: YMCA Registered Early Childhood Educator Role
Embark on a rewarding journey as a Registered Early Childhood Educator at YMCA of Hamilton|Burlington|Brantford, starting August 2026. Facilitate learning experiences for children 0-12 while ensuring their health and safety.

The YMCA is looking for passionate early childhood professionals to fill multiple roles. In this critical position, you will implement pedagogical practices reflecting YMCA standards and Ministry of Education guidelines. The role requires you to manage flexible hours, engage in outdoor activities, and participate in continuous professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead activities tailored to children's developmental stages

• Comply with Child Care and Early Years Act regulations

• Document children’s development and learning accurately

• Ensure safety and health standards are upheld

• Engage with parents and community contacts

Requirements:

• Degree/diploma in Early Childhood Education

• Minimum 6 months of direct experience with children

• Good standing membership with the College of Early Childhood Educators

• Current First Aid and CPR-C certification

• Proficient in English for documentation and communication
