Guitar Instructor at Long & McQuade

Join Long & McQuade as a Guitar Instructor in Brantford, ON. This contract position involves teaching guitar lessons during weekdays, weeknights, and weekends to students of all ages.

As a Guitar Instructor, you will work as an independent contractor in our Lesson Centre. Candidates must have a music degree or diploma, or equivalent experience such as Grade 8 RCM standing. Experience teaching various age groups and a solid understanding of teaching methods are important for creating effective lesson plans and fostering a positive learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide guitar instruction to students of all ages

• Create customized lesson plans for individual and group lessons

• Demonstrate effective teaching methods and techniques

• Encourage student engagement and participation

• Work collaboratively with the Lesson Centre team

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in music from a recognized institution

• At least Grade 8 RCM standing with Grade 2 Rudiments

• Teaching experience with diverse age ranges

• Knowledge of instructional methods and lesson planning

• Professional equivalency accepted
