This position will be focused CMM Scanning utilizing advanced 3D scanning technologies and software to inspect parts and assemblies. This position will also be responsible for company wide Quality Management System (ISO 9001 QMS) maintenance and processes, Digital Record keeping and data control.

Quality:

Conduct part and assembly inspections using advance 3D technology for high precision and accuracy of measurements

Utilize 3D scanning technology;
Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), especially for complex parts and assemblies

Develop scanning programs and strategies utilizing Poly Works software.

Identify and analyze key features of parts for precise and accurate measurements.

Compare and analyze data against original CAD models.

Perform GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) alignment and inspection assess part compliance and identify potential issues during the inspection process.

ISO 9001 QMS:

Assist in maintenance of ISO related documentation including Audit schedules, Inspection reports, KPI data acquisition and reporting.

Assist with the development and maintenance of procedures and process control documentation.

Assist with and participate in internal and external auditing of processes.

Work closely with program managers, supervisors and management ensuring the highest quality is maintained throughout the organisation.

Experience and

Education:

Previous experience with 3D modelling software is an asset

Experience with Poly Works considered an asset

Experience with Hexagon scanner and or ferro arm is considered an asset

Basic understanding of ISO 9001 standard and QMS documentation requirements an asset
