Sr. Controls Software Specialist

Our workforce is growing, and we are in search of a Sr. Controls Specialist to play a key role in advancing our manufacturing operations.

• You will design and develop automation solutions for the automotive, pharmaceutical and consumer industries.
• Contributing to machine concepts, design control software, integration of software with electrical and mechanical systems, and machine installation at customer sites.
• The role will also involve programming and integration assignments utilizing PLCs, PCs, robotics, motion controllers, vision systems, lasers, and other automation controllers.
• Design and program safety systems, including Safety PLCs and safety controllers.
• Develop and implement PLC and HMI programs (Allen-Bradley, Omron, Siemens).
• Integrate and configure vision systems (Cognex, Keyence) for automated inspection or robot guidance.
• Program and commission robotic systems (ABB, Fanuc, Motoman, etc.).
• Design, configure, and troubleshoot servo systems and related motion control.
• Debug and commission control systems in house and on-site.
• Collaborate with mechanical design teams and project managers to ensure integrated solutions.

• 3–5 years of experience in system controls development, design, and integration of automated equipment.
• Strong programming skills (PLC, HMI, robotics) and mechanical/electrical problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with industrial automation standards, safety systems, and vision systems.
• Knowledge of industrial network protocols (Ethernet/IP, CC-Link, Device Net).
• Strong organizational skills and a high level of self-motivation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel to customer sites as required.
• Valid passport and driver’s license for travel.
