Our workforce is growing, and we are in search of a Sr. Controls Specialist to play a key role in advancing our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities You will design and develop automation solutions for the automotive, pharmaceutical and consumer industries.
Contributing to machine concepts, design control software, integration of software with electrical and mechanical systems, and machine installation at customer sites.
The role will also involve programming and integration assignments utilizing PLCs, PCs, robotics, motion controllers, vision systems, lasers, and other automation controllers.
Design and program safety systems, including Safety PLCs and safety controllers.
Develop and implement PLC and HMI programs (Allen-Bradley, Omron, Siemens).
Integrate and configure vision systems (Cognex, Keyence) for automated inspection or robot guidance.
Program and commission robotic systems (ABB, Fanuc, Motoman, etc.).
Design, configure, and troubleshoot servo systems and related motion control.
Debug and commission control systems in house and on-site.
Collaborate with mechanical design teams and project managers to ensure integrated solutions.
Qualifications and Experience 3–5 years of experience in system controls development, design, and integration of automated equipment.
Strong programming skills (PLC, HMI, robotics) and mechanical/electrical problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with industrial automation standards, safety systems, and vision systems.
Knowledge of industrial network protocols (Ethernet/IP, CC-Link, Device Net).
Strong organizational skills and a high level of self-motivation.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to travel to customer sites as required.
Valid passport and driver’s license for travel.
