Join a dedicated team at AFIMAC Canada as a Utility/Water Treatment Technician. This position tasks you with essential responsibilities over 12-hour shifts and six days a week. You'll manage plant performance, resolve operation challenges, and support remote water treatment facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain municipal water treatment equipment
• Collaborate across departments to optimize operations
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Read and interpret facility blueprints and drawings
• Assist with remote system monitoring in rural areas
Requirements:
• Hold a valid Level III or IV certificate
• Class 5 or G driver’s license required
• At least 3 years of experience in the field
• Strong math skills for chemical calculations
• Comfortable working in confined spaces
