Salary: $85,000 - $100,000
Full-Time Position
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Process Engineer to join our growing manufacturing team. This role will be responsible for developing, estimating, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes, assembly tooling, automation systems, and capital equipment projects while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, estimate, and implement manufacturing tooling and equipment for new and existing projects
- Develop and estimate new manufacturing processes to support future business growth
- Assist in creating efficient process layouts and product flow strategies
- Participate in project planning, execution, and implementation
- Review customer requirements and identify optimal manufacturing solutions
- Evaluate vendor proposals and participate in supplier selection processes
- Develop engineering solutions to prevent product and process nonconformities
- Create and manage manufacturing processes and project plans
- Monitor and report project results using data-driven analysis
- Support project teams throughout all phases of project execution
- Prepare and present project status reports and recommendations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources
- Apply risk management strategies to minimize project risks
- Report project progress and escalate concerns when necessary
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies to support innovation and continuous improvement
- Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience in:
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Automation Technology
- Robotics
- Relevant manufacturing experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
- Experience in Process Engineering and Manufacturing Environments
- Automotive manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience with manufacturing processes, automation, robotics, welding, stamping, or assembly operations
- Machine controls and process improvement experience preferred
- Capital equipment project management experience
- Vendor management and supplier coordination experience
- Knowledge of project management principles and software
- Experience with risk management and change management
- Root Cause Analysis and continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to use data to drive decision-making
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
