Ferrero Utilities Maintenance Relief Engineer

FERRERO is hiring a Utilities Maintenance Relief Engineer for a full-time position in Brantford, ON. This role focuses on HVAC systems, maintenance operations, and safety regulations.

As a Utilities Maintenance Relief Engineer, you will perform maintenance and monitoring tasks crucial for sustaining Ferrero’s building environments. Reporting directly to the Chief Engineer, your responsibilities will involve daily inspections, equipment operation logging, and team collaboration to maintain efficiency across all systems. The role requires flexibility for a 12-hour shift schedule as well.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain HVAC and BAS systems effectively

• Log all equipment inconsistencies and relevant data

• Ensure all safety lock-outs are operational

• Operate and maintain essential plant systems

• Conduct regular inspections and document procedures

Requirements:

• 4th class Operating Engineer’s Certification mandatory

• Experience with Utilities and BAS systems

• Proficient in Excel and Word for documentation

• Strong problem-solving capabilities

• Availability for rotational shift coverage
