Elevate your IT expertise as an Infrastructure and Security Specialist with Six Nations Polytechnic, focusing on multi-site infrastructure and cybersecurity. This onsite role engages in vital IT operations, ensuring security and reliability.

Under the supervision of the Director, Information Services, you will implement, maintain, and improve SNP’s IT infrastructure. Key tasks include overseeing network security, performing advanced troubleshooting, and documenting technical processes.

Your role will significantly enhance the reliability, performance, and security of critical infrastructure services while aligning with the organization's cultural values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support multi-site IT infrastructure services

• Monitor performance and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues

• Implement security controls and lead cybersecurity initiatives

• Document operational processes and maintain technical records

• Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans

Requirements:

• Post-secondary diploma in Network Administration or similar

• 3-5 years of experience in network security and administration

• Experience with ERP/SIS/LMS systems preferred

• Familiarity with Indigenous cultures and community needs
