In the position of Data Center Technician, you’ll take on hands-on tasks vital to operations, including server racking, patch panel connections, and troubleshooting hardware problems. You will collaborate closely with NOC and client teams while maintaining comprehensive documentation to support seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct equipment installations and decommissions
• Manage structured cabling tasks effectively
• Perform rack and stack server procedures
• Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues
• Maintain accurate documentation of work
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years in data center or IT
• Gazing expertise in cabling standards
• Server hardware experience is crucial
• Must be able to lift over 50 lbs
• Certifications such as CDCP or CCNA are advantageous
