Summary
A Senior Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for maintaining inventory levels, producing monthly inventory reports, labeling items, and providing technical support for training and onboarding technicians.
KeyDuties & Responsibilities Shipping and Receiving
- Receive new parts shipments, confirm receipt and condition, and verify invoiced amount matches PO.
- Digitally transfer parts to warehouse, truck, or work order; move parts to designated storage or technician bin for loading.
- Handle all parts shipments to regional shops and customer sites; transport parts/tools/equipment to technicians on site when required.
- Create and place purchase orders for non‑standard or non‑stocked job parts.
- Negotiate part purchase prices to obtain the best value.
- Support the national parts manager with exceptions to stock orders.
- Manage vendor relationships—source new vendors, build relationships, and reduce lead times.
- Monitor parts orders and update management on exceptions to meet service level obligations.
- Prepare parts daily for technician pick‑up and truck restocking.
- Track and manage stock inventory on trucks, replenishing based on min/max reporting.
- Monitor inventory levels, report exceptions, and coordinate with managers and technicians on inventory issues.
- Lead annual inventory audits for the regional warehouse and trucks.
- Manage warranty/DOA returns, process returns, update tracking, and coordinate refunds with the national parts manager.
- Coordinate customer‑owned dispenser demolition and transfer used parts to inventory system.
- Ensure safety compliance with corporate HSE; manage safety equipment and monthly testing of gas monitors.
- Inspect safety gear and equipment, keep designated lockers/bins organized.
- Organize warehouse shelves and tools to maintain a clean, tidy work area.
- Label and tag select inventory items.
- Maintain general shop housekeeping, eliminate trip hazards, manage garbage/recycling, and segregate electronics for disposal.
- Conduct random safety audits on technician vehicles and manage disposal of waste oil, absorbent pads, scrap metal, etc.
- Provide technical support to entry‑level technicians ordering parts.
- Offer creative solutions for clients based on equipment utilization.
- Advise on job scoping and inventory levels to support contractual requirements.
- Assist the Director with training and onboarding of new Parts Coordinators and inventory protocols.
- Quote clients on equipment upgrades and parts purchases.
- Relevant post‑secondary education.
- Hands‑on experience in supply chain, logistics, or inventory practices.
- Warehouse operation experience.
- Business software skills.
- Ability to prioritize, schedule, and plan time‑sensitive duties in a fast‑paced environment.
- Valid Forklift license (or willing to obtain one).
- Valid G driver’s license.
This is a regular, full‑time position with an annual salary range of $54,185–$67,732. The starting salary is based on the candidate’s competencies, experience, education, and performance.
