Position: Extendicare Housekeeping Staff
Become a key member of the housekeeping staff at Extendicare, responsible for the sanitation of resident areas and common spaces. Bring your cleaning skills to support a healthy living environment.

As part of Extendicare’s team, you will engage in cleaning activities across resident apartments and communal spaces, applying effective cleaning and sanitization methods. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to operate cleaning machinery safely while respecting the dignity of residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute cleaning schedules using appropriate sanitation methods

• Clean resident apartments, furniture, and fixtures

• Operate steam cleaning and floor care equipment

• Strip, scrub, and buff various floor surfaces

• Adhere to safety protocols and residence policies

Requirements:

• Strong English communication skills

• Familiarity with standard cleaning methods

• Previous cleaning experience in healthcare or residential settings

• Ability to work independently

• Willingness to provide a Vulnerable Sector Check
