Health & Fitness Cleaner at Laurier YMCA

Elevate cleanliness standards at the Laurier Brantford YMCA as a Health & Fitness Cleaner. This part-time role offers up to 29 hours of flexible work, perfect for maintaining a pristine member environment.

In this role, you will conduct comprehensive cleaning duties throughout the facility along with back-of-house and outdoor spaces. Meeting cleanliness standards is critical, thus requiring attention to detail and initiative to suggest efficient cleaning methods. While prior experience is preferred, comprehensive training will be provided for all candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete assigned cleaning tasks effectively and efficiently

• Recommend effective cleaning agents and methods

• Lift objects over 20 pounds as required

• Consistently achieve standards set by Priority S.A.M.

• Use vacuums and cleaning chemicals properly

Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years of cleaning experience is desirable

• Demonstrated ability to operate independently

• Flexible schedule availability is a must

• Strong interpersonal skills required

• WHIMIS certification an asset
