Material Planner

We’re excited to share an opportunity for an existing vacancy as Materials Planner. This role offers the opportunity to join a growing manufacturing operation during an exciting ramp-up phase. The Materials Planner will play a key role in ensuring smooth production execution by coordinating materials, planning schedules, and supporting cross-functional teams across supply chain, production, warehousing, and logistics.

Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Supporting short-term production and materials planning to meet daily operational needs
• Assisting with or owning line scheduling, line setup, and material readiness for production
• Managing raw material, packaging, WIP, and finished goods flow
• Maintaining and updating SAP / MRP data related to materials planning and production schedules
• Monitoring inventory levels, safety stock, and material availability
• Providing accurate product availability dates to internal stakeholders
• Running stock reports and analyzing data related to product movement and inventory accuracy
• Coordinating with Production, Customer Service, Warehousing, Transportation, and external partners
• Participating in planning meetings and supporting continuous improvement initiatives

Mandatory Requirements:

• Experience in materials planning, production planning, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of production processes, line scheduling, and raw material flow
• SAP experience is required (depth dependent on level)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Salary Range:

$65,000– $90,000 (commensurate with experience and level)
