- Experience in the food and beverage or consumer packaged goods industry preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Willingness to work rotating shifts
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance and troubleshoot and repair food processing equipment
- Ensure equipment safety, food safety, and reliability, including supporting preventative maintenance initiatives
- Participate in continuous improvement projects, including the installation and commissioning of new machinery
- Perform equipment change-overs and production line setups
- Engage in welding, machining, and fabricating where qualified, and maintain high sanitation standards, housekeeping, and cleanliness of the maintenance shop
- Adhere to regulations and procedures to maintain the highest levels of health and safety, food safety, GMPs, and HACCP
