As a key member of our client's team in Brantford, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient assembly of products, ensuring every item meets the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in manufacturing & logistics and be proficient in using a variety of tools and reading technical documents.

We're looking for an Assembler who can hit the ground running, bringing their expertise in assembly and fabrication to a team-oriented workplace. This position requires a professional who is comfortable working with both power and hand tools and has a proven track record of using a measuring tape accurately to ensure precise fit and finish. Your ability to read and interpret blueprints is essential, as you'll be following detailed specifications to assemble complex components.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products and components accurately, following blueprints, schematics, and work orders.

• Use a variety of power and hand tools to fasten and join parts.

• Measure materials and parts precisely using a measuring tape and other instruments to ensure proper fit.

• Perform quality checks and inspections on finished products to identify defects or inconsistencies.

• Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues during the assembly process.

• Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.

• Document completed work and report any issues with parts or materials.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Assembler or in a similar manufacturing & logistics role.

• Previous experience using a variety of power and hand tools.

• Demonstrated ability to accurately use a measuring tape and other measurement tools.

• Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics is a must.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Physical ability to lift and move materials as required by the job.
