Job Description
As an Engineering Technologist, you’ll be at the forefront of designing and optimizing manufacturing processes.

Your role involves creating precise 3D CAD models and CNC files to guide the production of quality products. Collaborating with customers and colleagues, you’ll help drive the design and development of heat transfer coils and ensure that all manufacturing processes meet the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

Design & Documentation :
Develop CAD drawings (Solid Works) and CNC files to support manufacturing needs.

Process Improvement :
Identify ways to enhance efficiency and quality in existing manufacturing processes, and help implement new standards.

Prototyping & Testing :
Work with the team to develop and test new and existing products, ensuring accurate documentation.

Materials Sourcing :
Assist with sourcing and selecting materials that meet engineering and production requirements.

Cross-functional Collaboration :
Partner with departments like Production and Purchasing to resolve any design, material, or production issues.

Safety & Compliance :
Ensure all processes comply with health and safety regulations while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

Engineering Technologist Certificate/Diploma with a focus on digital technology or manufacturing.

2+ years of experience in a manufacturing production environment (preferred).

Proficiency in Solid Works and Microsoft Office applications.

Knowledge of ISO standards and lean manufacturing principles.

Strong background in mechanical design and drawing.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.

Familiarity with ERP software and the ability to assist in its management is a plus.
