To support our continued growth and improve operational efficiency, we are seeking a dedicated ERP & MRP Specialist to optimize our OnRamp ERP system in Canada and lead its implementation in our U.S. operations.

The ERP & MRP Specialist will be responsible for maximizing the performance and utilization of our OnRamp ERP system, enhancing material planning accuracy, and supporting production scheduling at both the Canadian and U.S. facilities. This role will be the primary owner of all MRP activities and will serve as the second‑in‑command for production scheduling, ensuring high accuracy and real‑time visibility across the manufacturing workflow.

A key responsibility will be leading the implementation of OnRamp ERP in our U.S. facility and ensuring alignment with Canadian processes and structure.

This position requires strong manufacturing knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to support, train, and guide personnel across both countries.

• Evaluate current ERP configuration and utilization; identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Optimize modules related to inventory, MRP, scheduling, production, BOMs, routings, labor reporting, and data entry.
• Implement system best practices to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Clean up, maintain, and standardize data to improve reliability of reporting and operations.

• Lead the complete OnRamp ERP implementation for U.S. operations.
• Map, align, and standardize U.S. processes to match Canadian workflows and configurations.
• Configure system settings, permissions, modules, and workflows.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and OnRamp support during implementation.
• Train U.S. teams on proper system use and operating procedures.

• Take full ownership of MRP runs, analysis, and execution within OnRamp.
• Ensure accurate demand forecasting, material availability, and production alignment.
• Work with purchasing and production teams to prevent shortages, over‑ordering, and planning gaps.
• Continuously refine planning parameters (lead times, reorder points, lot sizes, etc.).
• Monitor capacity planning outputs and recommend corrections when needed.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize production schedules in OnRamp.
• Ensure routings, run times, and labor standards are accurate and followed.
• Support supervisors and team leads with daily operational ERP usage.
• Build dashboards and tools that improve shop-floor visibility.
• Act as the secondary authority for scheduling, supporting the Operations Manager.

• Establish and maintain proper inventory management processes within the ERP.
• Ensure consistent cycle counting, stock adjustments, material movement tracking, and BOM accuracy.
• Collaborate with warehouse, production, and purchasing teams to uphold real‑time data integrity.

• Serve as the primary ERP support resource for both Canadian and U.S. teams.
• Develop SOPs, workflows, and training materials for system usage.
• Conduct ongoing training sessions to ensure compliance and adoption.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in collaboration with OnRamp support.

• Create and maintain custom reports, KPIs, and queries to support management decision‑making.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure data quality and system adherence.
• Recommend ongoing improvements to strengthen performance and accuracy.

• 3–5 years of ERP experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Strong understanding of MRP, inventory control, scheduling, and production processes.
• Experience supporting ERP optimization or implementation projects.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
