Product Developer

Job Title:

Product Developer Salary Range: CAD $ 65,000 – 81,920 Working Type:
On-Site

Manage agreed NPD& EPD projects so they launch on time & achieve commercial targets.

Achieve this through collaboration with customers & internal functions,especially Planning, Procurement, Production and Quality.

• Communicate NPD Briefs from customers to wider business, set up and manage projects on internal system
• Create appropriate product concepts in linewith the customer brief, market and consumer trends
• Project manage new products from start tolaunch following the NPD Stage & Gate Process
• Support meetings with customer productdeveloper
• Support cross-functional Feasibility Meetingsto establish if & how concepts can be made and at what cost
• Gather information for product costings basedon NPD Brief supplied by Concept & Commercial team
• Support the presentation of concepts and product submissions to customers
• Refine and align products with customer feedback
• Update relevant stakeholders as customers requestchanges to ensure product is still viable and any changes in cost are captured and communicated
• Hand over customer-approved concepts and documentation to Process Technologist for scale up but continue to support project

• Proven track record in at least 1 Product Developer role
• 2-3 years in Product Development
• Experienced in presenting to and building strong relationships with retail Product Developers
• Strong project management skills
• Can quickly adapt to change & manage multiple projects
• Numerate, analytical and adept at Excel, Word & Power Point
• A full driving licence
