Elevate your career with North West Rubber as a full-time Machine Operator in Brantford, Ontario. This role involves working on a 12-hour rotating shift to produce industrial rubber mats.
At North West Rubber, a leader in the recycling and manufacturing sector, you will operate and manage machinery for the production of high-quality molded rubber products. Your responsibilities will include maintaining equipment, achieving production targets, and ensuring the effective functioning of all machinery involved in the processing of rubber and similar materials.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate production equipment used for molded rubber products
• Load and manage stamping presses for manufacturing
• Report any equipment issues immediately
• Assist in documenting downtime and troubleshooting
• Understand and demonstrate the rubber mixing process
Requirements:
• Proven experience with molding and casting machinery
• Knowledge of rubber production processes
• Prior experience operating production equipment
• Proficiency in forklift operation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs during tasks
