Evolve Recycling is Canada's leader in tire recycling turning used tires into usable products such as multi-purpose matting, artificial sports surfaces and other innovative products. This role is full-time permanent Skid Steer Operator at a tire recycling facility in Brantford, ON.
Job Duties and Responsibilities- Unload trailers and bunkers
- Start-up and shut down of machines
- Complete pre-start checklists and daily production reports
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and make adjustments as required
- Operate a Forklift and Skid Steer - MUST have skid steer experience
- Move tires from trailers and bunkers to keep production flowing
- Fill hoppers with processed rubber
- Stage materials on the plant floor
- Ensure continual feed of material to hoppers to keep production going
- Keep work areas clean and free of debris
- Other duties as assigned
- Skid Steer License with previous experience with skid steers (e.g., snow removal, snow plow operators)
- Previous experience with forklift operation (certification considered an asset)
- Previous experience in a production/manufacturing facility
- Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude

- Ability to work with limited supervision
