North West Rubber is seeking skilled machine operators for weekend shifts from 7am to 7pm on Saturdays and Sundays. As a leader in rubber recycling and manufacturing with over 50 years of experience, the company emphasizes innovation and sustainability. Candidates should have a knack for troubleshooting, maintaining equipment, and ensuring smooth operations while monitoring for contaminants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Start up and shut down machines efficiently
• Complete daily production reports and pre-start checklists
• Assist with bi-weekly scheduled maintenance tasks
• Monitor machines for jams and overall performance
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
• Mechanical inclination and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Previous machine operator experience preferred
• Able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for shifts
• Strong attendance and punctuality record
