Take on an impactful role at Teledyne FLIR in Waterloo as a Production Operator. Engage in the assembly and testing of high-performance surveillance sensors for unmanned aircraft.
This position involves a combination of hands-on assembly, testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will play a vital role in maintaining product quality and participating in continuous improvement activities to enhance operational efficiency. Your feedback will help shape the production process for new products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble and test mechanical and electrical systems
• Collaborate on new product builds
• Provide feedback on assembly practices
• Assist with flight testing and product validation
• Maintain an organized work environment following 5S principles
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years in electronics assembly
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing practices
• Proficient in English communication
• Experience with PCBA inspection preferred
• Soldering skills are an asset
