Registered Nurse: Care Management Specialist

In this position, the Registered Nurse will report to the Director of Health and Wellness, managing comprehensive assessments and medication administration effectively. Your responsibilities will encompass coordinating care strategies, supervising caregivers, and addressing resident emergencies as they arise. Active communication with residents and families will be crucial in your day-to-day duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage resident assessments and documentation updates

• Safeguard and administer medications according to policies

• Provide education to residents and their families

• Oversee care assignments and supervise nursing students

• Respond promptly to changes in resident health conditions

Requirements:

• Current RN registration in applicable province/state

• Relevant experience with seniors or gerontology

• Strong customer focus and critical thinking skills

• Proven ability to manage care effectively

• Current Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening
