Position: Part Time RPN Position at Extendicare

Enhance patient care quality as a part-time Registered Practical Nurse iver comprehensive, patient-oriented nursing care while working in a supportive healthcare environment.

This role involves close collaboration with the Director of Care and coordination of resident services in a senior living community. You will take responsibility for clinical assessments, updating care plans, and implementing changes based on resident needs. Your contributions will also include direct patient interaction and emergency response.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide resident care and medication adherence

• Complete accurate clinical assessments and documentation

• Coordinate nursing assignments for effective patient care

• Teach and guide unregulated care providers

• Address any changes in resident conditions and emergencies

Requirements:

• Current Registered Practical Nurse credential

• Experience with seniors and unregulated care preferred

• Proficient in critical thinking and care coordination

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required

• Vulnerable Position Screening updated within 6 months
