Brantford Foot Care Nurse Position

Deliver essential foot care services as a Foot Care Nurse at a Retirement Home & Long Term Care facility in Brantford, Ontario. Work closely with residents to enhance their well-being.

As a Foot Care Nurse, you will assess resident needs and implement personalized foot care plans. Documentation is key; you will track each resident's progress meticulously following College standards.

Your role will include maintaining equipment sanitation and adhering to best practices of infection control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide foot care aligned with residents' assessments

• Document treatments and maintain residents’ health records

• Follow approved sanitization for tools used

• Adhere to infection control protocols from official guidelines

• Collaborate with the healthcare team on resident management

Requirements:

• Registered Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse license required

• Certification in basic or advanced foot care necessary

• Professional Liability Insurance is mandatory

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Experience in a Long Term Care setting preferred
