Care Communities as a part-time Registered Practical Nurse in Delhi, Ontario. Serve seniors with compassion while providing daily nursing care and support.
This role includes working under the direction of the Registered Nurse and reporting to the Director of Care. You will be responsible for essential tasks such as administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with healthcare teams to enhance care delivery. Your experience in long-term care will play a vital role in improving residents' quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support residents with daily routines and personal care
• Review health reports for updates on residents' needs
• Follow physician orders and administer medications safely
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes promptly
• Participate in care plan development and evaluation
Requirements:
• Current certificate from College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experience in long-term care preferred
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to coordinate care and manage time effectively
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
