Emergency Department Physician Assistant

Join BCHS as a Physician Assistant in the Emergency Department, providing essential medical care under the guidance of a registered Physician.

Your role enhances patient flow and supports a high-acuity environment.

This position entails working closely with the existing PA team reporting to the Chief and Medical Director. As a member of BCHS, you will leverage your emergency room experience while demonstrating strong communication and critical thinking skills. A commitment to lifelong learning and exceptional patient service is key in this collaborative role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide medical care to patients in emergencies

• Collaborate with the Physician and PA team

• Support patient flow through the Emergency Department

• Maintain efficient documentation and computer skills

• Participate in ongoing education and training

Requirements:

• Graduate of an Accredited PA Program

• Registration with the CPSO

• Emergency Room PA experience strongly preferred

• Current BCLS, ACLS preferred

• Criminal Record Check required
