As a vital member of the team at BCHS, you will report to the Clinical Manager, Medically Complex Care.
Your role includes delivering nursing care within the Medically Complex program, focusing on senior-friendly care frameworks. Bring your two years of geriatric or rehabilitation nursing experience to make a real difference in patient lives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care in Medically Complex program
• Collaborate with the interprofessional team for effective patient outcomes
• Conduct patient assessments and ensure safety
• Perform I.V. starts and venipuncture as required
• Engage in continuing education and maintain clinical skills
Requirements:
• Graduate of accredited nursing program
• Registered with College of Nurses of Ontario
• Two years in complex continuing or geriatric care
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Knowledge of Resident Assessment and Continuing Care systems
