We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Operating Room program at BCHS in Ontario. This role emphasizes your expertise in surgical environments, ensuring comprehensive care for patients. Strong clinical competencies and the ability to function independently as both a scrub and circulating nurse are crucial in supporting our mission to foster a healthier community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer quality nursing care in the surgical department
• Facilitate procedures as a scrub and circulating nurse
• Conduct patient teaching and assessments effectively
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
• Maintain accurate records and assist in infection control measures
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Accredited nursing program graduate
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Perioperative Nursing Certification completion required
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
