As a Registered Nurse reporting to the Clinical Manager, you will ensure comprehensive nursing care in the operating room. We seek a professional committed to continuing education, with current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification and perioperative nursing experience. This role demands critical thinking, effective communication, and collaboration within an interprofessional team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in the operating room

• Assist in major procedures for orthopedic, gynecology, and general surgeries

• Perform I.V. starts and venipuncture as needed

• Support the surgical team through effective communication

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited college or university nursing program

• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

• Completion of Perioperative Nursing Certification

• Preferred:
Current operating room experience
