Cardiology Telemetry Registered Practical Nurse

Deliver comprehensive cardiology nursing care at BCHS in Brantford or Paris, using cardiac assessment, care planning, and BCLS skills. Apply your RPN scope across Medical Cardiology.
Reporting to the Manager, Medical Cardiology, the Registered Practical Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care within the Medical Cardiology program. The position requires registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, strong organization, and effective communication. Candidates should demonstrate patient assessment, care planning, critical thinking, and collaborative practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care in Medical Cardiology
Assess patients and develop appropriate care plans
Function within the full RPN scope of practice
Work independently and collaboratively across organizational levels
Support colleagues and students as coach, teacher, or mentor
Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited college nursing program
Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
Two years of Cardiology unit experience preferred
Criminal Record Check required
Bring cardiac nursing knowledge, patient assessment, and collaborative practice to BCHS Medical Cardiology in Brantford or Paris.
