Chatham-Kent Registered Nurses can bring acute medicine expertise and Basic Life Support certification to a regular part-time Medicine department vacancy.
This position serves Medicine
- Chatham and requires a current certificate of competence as an RN in Ontario. Candidates need current acute medicine experience, intravenous care certifications, and Basic Life Support certification. Preferred qualifications include a BScN, Palliative Care Levels I and II, a gerontological diploma, and RNAO membership.
- Deliver nursing care within the Medicine
- Chatham department - Use certified venipuncture skills to initiate intravenous lines
- Provide care for central venous access devices
- Administer intravenous narcotics below the drip chamber
- Maintain satisfactory attendance in the position
- Ontario RN certificate of competence currently in good standing
- Current experience in acute medicine
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Certification for intravenous access device care
- Palliative Care, gerontology, BScN, and RNAO membership preferred
Use acute medicine knowledge, intravenous practice, and Basic Life Support certification as a Registered Nurse in Chatham.
