Support patients through postpartum care as a Registered Nurse at Pembroke Regional Hospital. Apply respectful communication, patient safety, and evidence-informed nursing standards.
Registered Nurses provide professional care within a multidisciplinary model and follow Ontario legislation, hospital policies, and CNO standards. This role values breastfeeding education, collaborative care, continuing learning, and continuous improvement within a compassionate Catholic health care setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide professional nursing care to postpartum patients
- Communicate respectfully with patients and health disciplines
- Collaborate with all members of the care team
- Apply critical thinking and effective problem solving
- Participate in continuing nursing education activities
- Current College of Nurses of Ontario RN certificate
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider course
- Basic cardiac life support certification
- Breastfeeding course or Baby Friendly Initiative equivalent preferred
- Basic computer skills and patient safety commitment
