We are seeking a Techician 3, Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) to join our team at our Brantford Bakery
. As a Tech 3, FSQA, you will be accountable for protecting food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance through sampling, testing, inspections, and documentation activities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring products consistently meet customer, company, and food safety requirements while supporting a culture of continuous quality improvement.
- Shift: Continental rotating 12- hour shift
- Hours: 5:45 am/pm to 6:00 pm/am (bi weekly rotation between days and nights)
- Weekend Availability: Required (every other week)
Hourly Rate: $29.50 plus aaplicable shift premiums
Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)- Conduct food safety and quality assurance activities to support compliance with regulatory, customer, and company standards.
- Monitor and verify Quality Management System (QMS), HACCP, GMP, and food safety program requirements.
- Perform product sampling, testing, evaluations, and inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and established procedures.
- Identify, document, communicate, and escalation food safety or quality non-conformances and support corrective actions.
- Execute product hold and release transactions within SAP based on food safety and quality requirements.
- Collaborate with production and cross-functional teams to maintain food safety, hygiene, and quality standards throughout the facility.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality, food safety performance, and customer satisfaction.
