Location: SimcoeVG Meats is looking for 20 Retail / Wholesale Butchers in Simcoe, ON!
We are looking to hire a Retail Butcher to join our Production Team. You will assist our Butcher team by cutting and producing various product as required. To do well in this role, you should have previous experience in butchery, be highly skilled with various butchery equipment, and have a strong meat aptitude.

Slaughter livestock using stunning devices and knivesSkin, clean and trim carcassesRemove viscera and other inedible parts from carcassesSplit carcasses into smaller portions to facilitate handlingMay slaughter cattle, calves and sheepCut beef, lamb, pork or veal carcasses or sides or quarters of carcasses into primal cuts for further cutting, processing or packagingRemove bones from meatCut meat and poultry into specific cuts for institutional, commercial or other wholesale useRemove skin, excess fat, bruises or other blemishes from carcasses or meat portions.Employment requirements
Completion of secondary school may be required.
On-the-job training is provided.
