The pay rate is $18.50 per hour and applicants must possess Use Of Force training and certification.
Full‑Time Position – Tactical Security Guard at a High‑Profile Commercial Site, Downtown BrantfordDuties & Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned area on foot to ensure security of facility and all monitored areas are secured.
- Work with emergency response teams to report irregularities and maintain a safe environment.
- Enforce property rules, regulations, and the Trespass to Property Act to protect clients and assets.
- Respond to various calls for service.
- Write detailed incident reports for all emergencies and daily activities.
- Report any unsafe working conditions in all areas.
- Sign in and out visitors and contractors to the building.
- Identify and report all safety concerns and hazards.
- Demonstrate friendly, personalized customer service as a frontline representative of Executek International.
- Complete investigations and incident reports.
- Operate security equipment, systems, computers, radios, and phones.
- Maintain thorough record‑keeping, report writing, and observation skills.
- Control access to client site or facility through pre‑approved access control systems.
- Hold a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
- Have a minimum of one year of experience in the security field.
- Possess a Use Of Force certificate.
- Have prior experience with report writing.
- Are flexible in schedule (Afternoons, Evenings, Overnight, Weekends, Holidays).
- Are eligible to work in Canada.
- Can provide quality customer service and maintain a high standard of service.
- Can handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively.
- Have a strong work ethic and commitment to your team.
- Are alert and aware of surroundings at all times.
- Maintain great physical fitness and present a clean professional image.
- Sunday: 12am to 12pm
- Monday: 12am to 8am
- Tuesday: 12am to 8am
- Wednesday: 12am to 8am
- Thursday: 12am to 8am
